About SHAP10R
Last updated: April 2, 2026
SHAP10R is an original puzzle game created by William Scott Jensen. It mixes shapes, colors, and number clues into a game that is easy to pick up but still satisfying to solve. Instead of rushing, players take in the clues, make a guess, and slowly uncover the answer.
SHAP10R first found a big audience on the Apple App Store, earning over 11,600 five-star ratings worldwide, and now it also has a full web edition at shap10rgame.com. The goal is simple: make SHAP10R easy to enjoy whether someone wants a quick browser game or a native mobile app.
The main game pieces are called Shaplors. Each Shaplor is one shape-and-color pair. Every puzzle hides a secret answer, and players use row guesses, clue colors, and the target number to figure it out.
Design Goals
SHAP10R was designed to feel welcoming on the first game while still giving players room to get better over time. The rules are simple to explain, but the fun comes from learning how to read the clues and make smarter guesses.
- Make every guess feel helpful.
- Blend visual puzzle solving with a simple number clue.
- Support both casual replay and score chasing.
- Keep the game easy to read on phones and computers.
Modes and Ongoing Features
SHAP10R includes replayable Just Play sessions and Daily Glimpse challenges. Just Play is great for jumping in anytime, while Daily Glimpse gives returning players a fresh puzzle to check each day.
The web version also keeps track of stats and offers optional leaderboards. Players can simply enjoy the game on their own, or join the leaderboard later if they want to share scores.
